It turned out beautiful! It looks professional. Must have been so yummy. To bad it had to be destroyed to be consumed - hurray for photos & lasting memories.
Believe me it was far from perfect but once it was decorated with the flowers you didn't see the flaws. It was my first time ever using fondant. I think I've been watching too many cake decorating shows on the food network and TLC!

everybody said this was the best carrot cake they had ever eaten! I have to agree! I got the recipe from Canadian Living Magazine. I'll be sure to post it to Multiply in the next few days.
Apparently one of my mother's friends thought this cake was made by food network celebrity chef Anna Olsen. She lives near my parents and has the most amazing bakery/cafe just down the road from their house. What a compliment!!!
