Rain Barrels

I bought a rain barrel from Quinte Conservation last spring.   It is just great and I was able to use the collected water to water my flower beds throughout the summer.  My rain barrel was $40.00 and I saw the exact same one at home depot for $95 so I know it was a quite a deal.   I received an email at work today advising that the city's Green Taskforce is selling  rain barrels this year, the same model and again at the bargain price of $40 bucks.   I'm told they will even deliver your rain barrel for you. They only have 200 of them and they just advertised on Kijiji so you better get one before they are gone!

Here is a snip from the email I got:

"The City of Belleville Green Task Force is selling rain barrels for City residents.  Cost is $40.00 plus GST and PST.  There is a limit of 2 per household; while quantities last.  Please visit our link www.city.belleville.on.ca/CityHall/GREENTASKFORCE for more information. Purchase your rain barrel at 195 College Street West, Belleville Water between 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday."
